Be Prepared

It is no secret that Florida has hurricanes, and it is important to be informed and prepared. Marshview sits beautifully between the Intracoastal and the ocean, and it was built to Florida’s updated buildings codes adopted after Hurricane Andrew.  This includes greater wind-resistance design and higher ground-floor elevations than had been previously required for coastal construction.  Nevertheless, Marshview was in an evacuation area in advance of approaching hurricanes in 2016 and 2017, even though homes experienced little or no storm damage.
